Ok, so hi everyone! This is me, mostly known by my international friends as inki_snow. I have a little girl called Eve and throughout my pregnancy and her first year, I have come to know a number of ladies from all over the world. Some from the States, others from the UK, and some from Australia and one special one who I spend all day txting from my home town in NZ. I have watched as all these little buttons have developed into real characters. There have been hard times, fun times and it has been a great support. These girls have come to be a warm cozy blanket that I can colour under when things get too much. And this is how this quilt will function! So how it works is friends overseas can elect to send me one piece of fabric (a fat quarter) to become part of this quilt.

I decided from a pinterest post that I wanted to make this quilt for my bed - It's just a bunch of fat quarters sewn together and made into a quilt. It will be amazing. The best part is the surprises in the mail, the surprise of what patterns and colours I will get and once I have everything together, I will start to make this quilt. Ultimately, this is my journey and I hope you can enjoy it with me.
Today my very first parcel arrived from Jessica Ann! She picked out some lovely fabrics and I can't wait to see what else will arrive in my letter box. Thank you so much! They are just wonderful!
